About Us
Kalafhi Pharmaceuticals is a business that is divided into many enterprises that believes in and covers all aspects such as delivering, promising and achieving quality pharmaceutical excellence through delivery and wholesale services. These three enterprises are: Kalafhi Pharmacy, Kalafhi MedExpress (Delivery Service), and Kalafhi Distributors.
Since Kalafhi Medical Center's establishment in 2018, we saw it fit to provide our clients with convenience by providing one-stop health care centers that are affordable and accessible to all. This led to the formation of Kalafhi Pharmaceutical.
Kalafhi Pharmaceuticals is a 100% citizen owned business which satisfies a need in the market to supply exceptional all rounded healthcare due to the shortage of quality in the industry. The company was established in 2019 and is located within all Kalafhi Medical Center clinics in Village, Tlokweng and Main Mall offering GP Consultation, Laboratory services, Child welfare services (i.e., Vaccinations), Physiotherapy, Dental services and Aesthetics treatments.
Mission
Our target is to be able to provide and supply medical drugs, equipment’s, and services nationwide. Our mission is to also migrate the shortage of medical drugs and equipment in our ailing private and government sectors, as we also aim to expand towards the rest of Southern Africa.
Vision
Our vision is to become Botswana’s leading pharmaceutical and medical distributor company and in addition have the large multitude of pharmacies nationwide accompanied by a fleet of vehicles to undertake our logistics in ensuring our products reach their intended destination.
Our Divisions
This division supplies prescription drugs, over the counter drugs and medical equipment to private and public health institutions around Botswana such as Kalafhi Group, medical professionals, pharmacies, and other medical distributors.

Our dispensaries, through our diverse portfolio of prescription and nonprescription products, provide safe, high quality patient care and pharmaceutical drugs in an atmosphere of professionalism, respect, and effective communication.
Our in-house courier service comprises of a fleet of vehicles responsible for delivering medical drugs, supplies and equipment. Kalafhi MedExpress is also responsible for the delivery of prescription and over the counter drugs.

DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT
These are any type of equipment or tools used in a hospital setting for the sole purpose of diagnosing a patient’s conditions.
DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
This type of medical equipment is used mainly for providing therapeutic benefits for certain conditions or illnesses. The use of this equipment must be prescribed by a physician, which is designed to serve a medical purpose. It is a longterm and reusable device that can be used in the hospital or at home for patient care.
TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
Treatment equipment is any type of medical device or tool that is designed to treat a specific condition. It utilises modern technology to address any abnormalities to restore function in the affected organs or tissues within the body. This can also include the surgical supplies designed to provide treatment for certain conditions that require surgical intervention.
LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
These are medical devices intended to maintain the bodily function of a patient. A variety of life support machines include: Heart-lung Machines: It facilitates the circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the patient’s body. Medical Ventilators: Designed to move breathable air in and out of the lungs. There are two types of medical ventilators; one is hand-operated using a bag valve mask and the other is run and operated by a computer. Dialysis Machine: The method of removing excess solutes or toxins from the blood. Dialysis machines are essential for those who have kidney damage or lost kidney function. Incubator: A medical apparatus used for neonatal intensive care, designed to mimic the environmental conditions suitable for new-born babies. It is often used in conjunction with a few other medical equipment's.
MEDICAL LABORATORY EQUIPMENT
The use of medical laboratory equipment is often seen in medical clinics or diagnostic laboratories. These types of equipment are intended for the analysis of blood, urine, genes, and other biological material.
GENERIC & OTC (OVER THE COUNTER) ETHICAL MEDICATION
We offer both the supply and distribution of generic, over the counter and ethical medication. Generic medications are a far more cost effective solutions should you opt to purchase them and cover a larger variety of medication in which to select. Our range covers cold and allergy medications, pain relief items, eye / ear care, digestive health, first aid / wound care accompanied with vitamin and mineral supplements.
